To make your getting ready a relaxing and effective experience, we recommend you follow these tips:
1. Find the perfect place
- Look for a large, well-lit space, preferably with natural light.
- Avoid crowded places so you can relax.
- Make sure you have plugs nearby to facilitate the process.
2. Prepare your skin and hair
- Arrive with a clean face and no makeup, no products on the skin for a better application. If you have any products you want to use, bring them to your tests so that your makeup artist can decide whether to apply them and can verify that the formulas are compatible with the makeup.
- Before your makeup session, wash your face with cold or ice water, this will help to tone the skin, tighten pores and deflate.
- Do not apply any products on the hair for a better hold and duration of the hairstyle. Shampoo only
- If you are going to use extensions, be sure to wear them clean and untangled, and notify your stylist so that he/she can consider costs and time for their placement.
3. Dress for the occasion
- Wear something you feel comfortable and cute in for the photos, such as a bathrobe or satin pajamas.
- If you will be doing "getting ready" photos with your ladies, choose gowns for all of them in your favorite color.
- Don't forget to take your pants off for the photo shoot, and wear nice slippers for you and all your ladies.
- If you choose to wear a headdress and/or veil, make sure they have a metal clip so you can secure it on your hair, bring them to your hair trial for better advice.
4. Enjoy without distractions
- Choose well those who will accompany you, opt for people who transmit calm and joy.
- Designate one or two people to handle outstanding tasks, such as final payments or vendor calls.
- Use the cell phone as little as possible to live the moment without distractions.
5. Organize logistical details
- Eat breakfast before or after the process to feel good all day and not interrupt your makeup session.
- Inform your photographer to arrive 5 minutes before we finish your hair and make-up, so your pictures will not be taken with your hair and make-up half done.
- Please read the terms and conditions of our services in advance to avoid setbacks.
- Organize your ladies and guests so that they arrive on time for their appointments and choose a manager to manage them if necessary.
6. Prepare your retouching kit
- Bring the lipstick you will wear on your wedding day, we can tell you the exact shade at your make-up trials.
- Include translucent powder to touch up your makeup during the event. This will help mattify areas of high shine.
By following these tips, your experience will be much smoother and stress-free. Enjoy your day and get ready to look spectacular on your big day!
